HEY! September 11 is a day to remember the victims of terrorism as a whole, not just 9/11. I take deep offense to that.
*has a moment of silence to remember victims of 9/11 AND the Bali bombings. At least 80 Australians died in that.*

Whoa, easy there, mewrio... this isn't the place to get into this too deeply but I think the general purpose of this thread was for people to either post their own "moment of silence" or to say a little something. I'm sure kaffy isn't trying to disrespect anyone... I know this is a sensitive topic but let's try not to be offended by one another.

Hello everyone,
I've been questioned about why I put a smiley face in my previous reply to this thread. Some people may be thinking I was happy about it, but I want to make it clear that the reason I put a smiley face was because it wouldn't let me post a blank message, because yes, I was aware that it was a moment of silence, and I wanted to show that I cared.

Please take a moment today to reflect upon the events that happened 11 years ago today at the World Trade Center in NYC. Today marks the 11th anniversary of the first terrorst attack on these buildings. A truck bomb exploded in an underground parking garage severely damaging a support structure to the building and filling the building with smoke. Six people were killed. Another 1,000 people suffered injuries.
