Re: Al is Burning?
Wrestling this back on topic...
I know you said they didn't have anything in common, but is that what they said?"What on earth do Monica lewinsky and Weird Al Yankovic have in common? Stay tuned to find out."
Not at all. They were just both part of the same segment in which Rome did a good news, bad news sort of thing. (in his opinion obviously) I believe that he blasted monica for one reason or the other...and said something about how her parents must be proud for having a daughter that is famous for performing oral...er...essay on the president. A little late on the comment though. I guess she was in the news again. Later on, Al was mentioned with what I previously said.

Egad. Isn't her 15 minutes up yet??
Ross Edward Rogers of Howell, NJ asks: "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" has been following the Clinton Crisis since the beginning. Every so often, they have a sketch called "The President... In Crisis". During the graphic, they always show a picture of the President, of Monica Lewinski, and then a third picture of somebody who has nothing to do with the whole situation. Recently, YOUR picture was that third picture. What did you think of that ?
I'm proud to have had nothing to do with that whole situation.

I can safely assume that there aren't many people at ESPN who share Rome's opinion.
While I don't know if there are any Al fans at ESPN, there are quite a few They Might Be Giants fans there. I'm sure at least a few of them are also Al fans.
(By the way, Kilbourn used to work at ESPN. Maybe he and Rome are twins  )

Or accordion to Fox which had that Mr. Personality show or whatever. Not accordion to VH1.Egad. Isn't her 15 minutes up yet??

Suprised noone else saw this. I guess I'm the only sports/Weird Al fan on earth though x_x
Not the only one. I love sports and Al...My sports knowledge majors more in baseball though.

In a way, it's cool that Al is being acknowledged for being eligible for the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, but being dissed for it was not cool.
