Hey everyone. I am prone to memorizing all of Al's songs. I especially work on the rapid singing and getting it all down. I just want to know if you all can do these parts clearly and as fast as he sings:
-ALL of Jerry Springer
-The part of "Alternative Polka" of "Oughta know"
-Thats your horoscope today where it starts Now you may find it inconcievable....

I can sing Jerry Springer all the way through with EASE and i can do the Horoscope song all the way through too... but im getting Bad Hair Day like, any day now... but right now i dont posess it, so i cant say that i know any of the songs! :) :)

I can do the Yoda Chant and some of Jerry Springer and Your Horoscope for Today for the majority with those two. ~sigh~ But I tend to trip over words. I know the words, I just can't sing that fast.

What about the auxillary parts to Since You've Gone? Like the parts after "...shoved a red hot cactus up my nose...," then the basses go on some crazy transition.

He became Francine back in 76' and then he joined that cult. I think his name is Mother Shibubu now.

I try not to memorize the lyrics, they just kinda come after listening a while. I try not to listen to Weird Al all the time because the songs get boring.

I was at the show in Ashland, KY last tour and I thought it would be realy neat if I stood up (My fiance and I had front row seats) and did the yoda chant, complete with all the motions.
Everything was going well and everyone was impressed. . .
and...
then...
Al....
got....
faster....

I didn't have a prayer for keeping up and, quite honestly, I'm not sure how the band did either. But at least I had it memorized.

Try to out do the Master will you? Guess he had to show you who the REAL Weird Al is!

I can pretty much remember any song regardless of speed. I even memorized Tom Leher's "The Element Song" Now that's a fast song!

We all thought Horoscope was a toughie...

I can't even read fast enough to follow THAT PART of Hardware Store. Definately gonna have to memorize it before even attempting to sing with him. The rest of the song ain't gonna be easy either.

I soooo want to see him do this live. I'm not sure even Al could do it though.

You know, if the music thing doesn't work out for Al, he could become an auctioneer...

(HOW does he do it????)
