I not a vegetarian, but I do think we humans should do our best to treat animals as kindly as possible. PETA raises plenty of legitimate issues, but I personally think they do more to hinder their own cause with the tactics they use. I'm not a big fan of their organization. The Humane Society is a "nicer" group to support if you believe in animal welfare.
Still, I see no harm in voting in PETA's poll, so why not...? I'll vote for Al!

Nicely put. And of course I voted for Al. About five times.

I voted for Al. I'm a guy, but if I get a chance to vote for Al, I'm there!
BTW, I'm an independent vegetarian, so to speak. I won't comment about PETA only to say that I originally thought PETA stood for "People for the Ethical Treatment of Al."

I wonder if there's a AETP....Animals for the Ethical Treatment of People. Doesn't the idea of a van full of dogs and cows and sheep driving by and seeing a man attacked by a bear, and the animals stopping to fight the bear just sound cute?
I'm delusional....

Apparently there is. There is a photo and short story about them here. (You can find just about anything on the Internet!) Although I have my suspicions as to the true identity of these so-called "animals."
If there were a true "AETP," Harvey the Wonder Hamster could drive a van saving people, I'm sure, since I doubt his schedule between "AL-TV" gigs is very busy...
Maybe there could be a reciprocity agreement set up so that the animals vote for Al as the sexiest vegetarian and we, I dunno, declare Harvey the official mascot of the forum?!?
How many voted for Al as sexiest vegetiarian?

I voted for Al and I am very much a woman!

He's soooooo nice I'd vote for him twice. For further comment look up the dixie cup posts under the Drooling over Al thread. That should cover it.
