Wow, always cool to hear about a Weird Al parody that almost was.

That actually sounds like it could have been pretty funny. It's a shame it never made it even as a concert-only parody.

And also this quote from Beck in the same interview:

He was gonna do a full-blown “Loser” and I was sort of not down with it at the time cos he asked me like two years ago. If he asked me now I’d say go for it, but at the time I felt like I wanted that song to die, like, a quiet death. Alright, then we're both breaking personal Reddit bests (easier for me since I'm not sure my stuff has ever ended up there before). I've been quoting that Pumpkins line since I read it in '96. Could be my favorite line he ever did. I hate plagirizing comedy but it'd be so perfect for my "Grandpa's" band Geezer...I was totally thinking of it when I made this for a huge radio countdown I did last year.....
