Re: Mandatory Czar Experience
Someone must specify if Al or any of the guys are ever present at one of the VIP parties 'cause I probably wouldn't attend a pre-show party if theres no chance of talking with any of them during it. Unless there is free alcohol included of course.

What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electric guitars!!

Re: Mandatory Czar Experience
Nearly every major touring show is offering premium experience packages now. Part of it is money, part of it is that people noticed how for a lot of hot shows, tickets are selling on StubHub for double, triple, sometimes more of their face value, and they want to get a piece of that. The Czar experience packages are actually very reasonably priced, similar packages for other shows like KISS will run you $1,000 or more, and often require you to pay for a fan club membership before you can get in on it.

And that doesn't get you a meeting with Ace Frehley or Peter Criss. Without those two, that band is poop. Not too surprised they would charge that much though.

Can anyone confirm if Al signed an extra item besides the poster? Don't want to lug another item around if not needed. Thanks!

Re: Mandatory Czar Experience
From what I understand, the "rules" in the Czar experience are fairly lax. Pretty sure someone posted a video from their time with him where they got to talk and get a couple of things signed.

Re: Mandatory Czar Experience
The VIP party in Nashville was at 5 PM in a ballroom at the bottom of the Renaissance Hotel across the street from the Ryman. You get in line and show your ID to get in. I got a raffle ticket, wristband, VIP Laminate, and Czar sticker. I also got my t-shirt, box of trading cards, and a tour poster, but NO BAG. Inside they have 3 walls that make up an Al timeline and a few screens playing clips throughout his career. The emcee stands next to a top secret curtain with a red light behind it. He has several microphones like he's at a press conference. A couple of the mics reference UHF. There's a green screen where you can get a picture taken with props then you have the pic sent to your twitter. There's a lip synching contest, but only a couple people went for it.
Victoria Jackson was there! She lives in the county I grew up in. I talked to her for a bit and got a picture. She was nice despite what I've seen of her on FOX news.
My friends and I put our stuff up in our cars, because our hands were full. Why no bag?! Right when we got back, the emcee announced that Czar's needed to turn in our posters because they were pre-signed, and we would be getting personalized ones after the show. So because of that awesome timing, I now have two signed posters. One just signed and another that says "Hi Ryan (the inspiration for White and Nerdy) plus his signature.
They did the raffle, and the winner got to spin the Wheel of Fish (which was hidden behind the Top Secret Curtain). We all yelled for him to get the red snapper. I forget what it landed on, but he traded it for what was in the box: NOTHING! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! He got to trade being "so stupid!" for any item from the merch table.
That's pretty much it. There was a cash bar and a couple tables of food. It would have been nice to have some free bottled water, because it was really hot in my Party in the CIA suit. We left the party around 6:30, because we wanted to make sure to get a Hatch Show print at the Ryman. Victoria and her friend bonded with one of my friends, so she cut in line.

He only signs one item, and it's strongly preferred to be the poster. My friend got her Hatch Show print poster signed instead, and another dude got his In-3D vinyl signed.MatthewChojnacki wrote:Can anyone confirm if Al signed an extra item besides the poster? He'll write whatever you want though. I got him to write I was the inspiration for White and Nerdy. The guy with the vinyl sang Yoda in front of the entire theater, so Al thanked him for rocking out in his signature.
They rush the line through, and the emcee from the VIP party takes your picture. Mine wasn't the best quality, because he used the flash and it turned out slightly blurry :/

That's why its lame.
Victoria Jackson though, that's neat. I can guarantee the rules bend and will change up throughout the tour.

Re: Mandatory Czar Experience
It's cool that Victoria Jackson was there. I kind of got the impression that she and Al had a bit of a falling out, but apparently that's not the case.
