It was a great idea to spread the fun through a couple of weeks! It would be quite tiresome to watch hours of homemade videos at once.

Even I didn't have much trouble understanding it . What I didn't understand until you reached the chorus was what is the song you parodying . Turns out I've never fully heard "Friday"...

That pillow-down-the-stairs sight gag made me laugh a LOT.

This. Is. Amazing. I agree with remmy, I literally did a snort-laugh with the pillow down the stairs. Seriously, from a writing/production/editing standpoint, this way exceeded my expectations. Awesome, awesome work, Alicia (and Mia and Kevbo too)!

(Although it does stir up the old debate--I still find whoa-way to be the more natural pronunciation!)

That's how I pronounce it too, but I never put any thought to it (and I'm definitely not a specialist when it comes to English). I didn't even notice Alicia pronounced it differently until you pointed it out

The correct way is how Alicia says it, but I've heard people saying whoa-way too. What a world!
The truth is I rarely if ever need to say it out loud, so the first time it even came up as a question for me was Al Fest.
