So Al posted this a few days ago.
Other than not being sure how to feel about Al with straight hair, it's exciting to think about what he might have needed to get his hair straightened for.

At this point in time, I think it's more likely for another Funny Or Die type web production than a video shoot for the album. Otherwise, he might have said it was for the next album.

Well I feel the complete opposite since getting your hair straightened for curly haired people is kind of a big deal so I feel more like it's prob for one of his own projects.

If it is an Al project, it's probably for something besides the album. Al would tweet if he had made more recording/shooting progress for the album. The last time he tweeted about the album was when he shot the cover back in August.

How do you know? It seems to me that there are no set rules about what constitutes a tweet vs a gram.

And just because he normally lets us know his progress, he doesn't have to. He could be playing it close to his vest

Well, he has been tweeting all of his recording sessions for Alpocalypse and Album #14 (as well as the cover shoot for the next album). For Instagram, it's too early to tell. Al's only been there a month or two.

The straight hair photo could be from another low budget live action video shoot for the new album with another new director even though he didn't explicitly say so. I'm just saying that I personally just think that might be unlikely right now.
