I have a question about this parody, though. Why exactly is it missing parodies the echoy, whispery parts preceding and succeeding the song? Is it just a rough copy or is it going to be like that in the end? (you know, "It doesn't matter whether you love him or capital H-I-M, just put your paws up because baby, you were born this way" at the beginning and "same DNA... but born this way... same DNA... but born this way" at the end)

Don't be too hard on him, though. He probably gets a billion requests like that a day. I don't even think he knew who Weird Al was besides some amateur comedian trying to make a profit off of Gaga's music.
Well, boo on him anyway. But maybe a lowercase boo. boo

If he doesn't know who Weird Al is, I don't see how he's in the music or pop-culture industry. But maybe that's just my personal bias.

This is a really good question. Now that the song isn't just a free leak for the fans to check out, do you think he may go back and remaster or change anything about it? Possible but I would lean towards not.

As much as I am still a little disappointed there is no surprise in the lead single, I really can't wait to see how this video will turn out. This could truly be epic. From a production standpoint, this might be quite the undertaking.

What a weird day! I'm glad everything worked out for everyone in the end (except Lady Gaga's manager who's probably a bit concerned about job security now), but I'm a little surprised Al didn't reach out to Lady Gaga in person after hearing she said no, instead of just assuming it to be the truth and giving away his lead single for free eight weeks or so early.

Maybe I'm oversimplifying things and it's not as easy for one musician to call another as I think, but it's not the first time Al got burned like that. At the very least, if I was in Al's situation, I'd want to speak to Lady Gaga in person to let her know I meant no personal offense with the lyrics, just doing my job.

Now that Al and Lady Gaga appear to be best friends forever again, I wonder if we'll see a certain cameo in the video...

Or maybe she'll just do what Michael Jackson did and lend him some sets.

Al may not have direct contact with her, that's why he went through management. He could have even asked to speak to her directly and was told no. It's situations like this that prove Al needs to go directly to the artist, not through a middleman. He obviously doesnt have qualms about releasing things without permission anymore, just not for profit

Troy Carter, Gaga's manager, dressed in meat?
