In 'Living with a Hernia', just before the part where he lists the hernias, Al says "Wait a minute!" and keeps moving, making it obvious he was on a wheeled device or a conveyor belt instead of shifting along on one foot.

Also, when the class shout 'Richter's Hernia' they make the 'tree' sign from 'it's like barking up a tree' from 'Dare to Be Stupid'

Although, I think it's even funnier if you suspend your disbelief a bit and assume Al really is still doing the foot-shuffling thing while he's distracted...because that's something you'd just keep on doing without any concentration.

I'm surprised I didn't notice this earlier (:S) , but in the Beverly Hillbillies video, Al has to keep turning to face the camera, and gets gradually scared.
