I was pleased with how it came out for a random drawing past midnight.

As we roll into the final weeks of summer, I'll be back in the dorm and back in the habit of kicking myself into gear art-wise.

I will enjoy drawing Jon, Steve and Jim as well.

Merged with Aron's other projects topic.

Cool pic, Aron. But there's no need to start a brand new topic for each project. You can just post them all here.

If you have access to a light box, you can just retrace it onto another sheet of paper in the position you want it to be.

Not a bad idea! I shall have to save this one for back at the dorm I guess--- I left my lightbox in storage for school, hehe.

Cool, I changed the thread title and description so people don't keep going "Ugh, We already talked about that picture!" and ignore the thread.

Hehe... the O-Rama just adds oodles of coolness too...

In a pinch, a sheet of clear lucite or glass with a lamp behind it works as well....

I actually tried that and numerous other methods at the end of the year when time to animate was getting scarce for the final projects. They had taken our MEGA HUGE AWESOME SUPER COOL LIGHT TABLE away. It was so sweet... you could pratically tan on that thing.

If I can find some lucite or glass or something I can give that a try. I didnt have any luck finding parts down there but if I'm desperate--- I can use a window. Wont look grand but I can touch it up.

it's so hard to capture the great expressions he has on his face. I'm torn between his huge grin, and the look he made in concert when he went to play a tune while wearing his sombraro--- and got interrupted by a pack of screaming girls. It was awesome.

New art-- sorta.

I'm doing a flipbook in History of Animation class and It's a simple little thing but I'll be animating Al playing an accordion.

Here's some sketchy stuff from in class. I had a bad day, brought the wrong bag to class, and had nothing but notebook paper to work on.

as for 'ufotofu.net', thats my new art web page. Just started it so right now, this pic is the only thing up there.

My notes are on this as well-- stuff like how the bellows are shaped depending on if air is being forced out of the instrument, or in. It's terribly fun to plan that because the instrument makes this curve shape when it's being pushed closed.

It's not much on design because Im doing this frame by frame for the flipbook but I kinda like how simple it is--- it's somewhat cute.
