I wouldn't mind a trip to the laundromat with Al, though.

hehe, well, ok, I guess if Al was there, it'd be ok. I remember wearing the last clean outfit to go do the laundry, usually something completely horrid-looking. So glad I have my own washer and dryer now.

Here's something I noticed...
Some people think a parody has to change everything about a song, and that Al's "Whatever You Like" is 'weak' because he didn't change the words "...whatever you like"
I think that's some very stupid thinking.
What makes Al Al is that the song is more than just a "parody".
It's making a point. It's telling a story. That's far more important than "changing words"
Some people will just never grow a clue.
Not to mention the fact that half of the time he DID change the words to something similar, yet different.

I like it so far, but I need to listen to it more. Also, I need to read the lyrics along with it. I keep mishearing some things. I had to get use to the sound as I had never heard the original version before.

Oh, I think I'm addicted to this song!! YAY! Haha, I sent this song to my friend and she replied back saying, "Wow thanks! I can always count on you keeping me up to date with Al's new songs!" Boy is she right!

I'm pleased to see a number of articles (through surfing Google for Weird Al news) that are announcing the new parody.
Al's version of "Whatever You Like" just came up at #70 on iTunes list of new songs.

And the more I listen to the song, the more I realize that it's not "the opposite" of the original, like I did read somewhere on this forum. It's exactly the same song, except that the main character has a reduced budget
Great observation.
If anything, it's made the song a bit easier for the average listener to relate with.
Song gets two thumbs up from me!

First reaction was it is a morning zoo kind of song. Then I realized, if you dump the opening spoken part, totally timeless, I really hope to see it live.
