Wonderful review, Shelley!

it was kind of funny watching Al try to figure out how he was going to work it so he didn't sing the ending to a 5-yr old..
 Guess that was a good idea. She probably won't appreciate that song for another 10 years.

I *think* that was me. I had my bright green Al team shirt on. And you're welcome! I'd give your kids those dollars all over again.

Yes! It was indeed! Thank you so much for that, I met/saw so many people that I lost track of who was whom. Hope to see you at another concert!

Again, you're very welcome. I wish I could ee you at another concert this tour, but unless I win the lottery, it probably isn't gonna happen. I'm quite literally flat broke.

No, I didn't think to have him sign it there. He signed the bottom right hand corner. I'll post a scan of the cover when I get home from vacation.

I don't remember who commented earlier in the thread that they wonder if Fraze security just wanted to leave, but my sister overheard a couple of the security guys complaining that this was cutting into their drinking time at BW3's. Apparently they underestimate the importance of Weird Al!

You're not kidding! I got there an hour before they even opened the gates and well before most of the staff got there. As they walked past me and spoke with their co-workers, I heard several of them remark to one another that the show was sold out. It was clear that they were seriously surprised at this, and that they didn't expect to have to work a full crowd that night. So, you can imagine how annoyed those same folks probably would have been when it turned out they'd have to stay even later because Al was signing autographs. Not to mention cleaning up all the confetti!

BTW, here's a video of Elvis Costello doing "Radio, Radio" with the false start on SNL. Al did basically the same thing but with "Amish Paradise" at the beginning. And of course, Al's band sounded a lot better. :D

LOL funny OE! Seriously though, I don't envy whoever did have to clean up that confetti, it was everywhere!! The kids had fun scooping it up and dumping it on each other while we waited for people to clear out.

I did the same thing, but I don't remember who I gave them to. Of course, someone else asked for one, and I only have one left, and I really want it for my "swag" collection!

Basically, if you're a WOWAYer, it's assumed you're nice! It could have been any one of us! (IMO)

So, he really just interrupted AP even though they hadn't messed up? Part of me hopes I'll get to see them do Radio, Radio, but I also don't want to miss seeing AP!
