I thought he would be attending the show’s all night party or something, and then be resting for the day, but no, he came to see us instead. Al is AMAZING! :Y
They taped the show on Saturday.

Or maybe something like the SLN cheerleaders for concerts. That'd be kind of cool, for guys at least.

I wish I could get all the little red carpet snippets, but then I would have to record the whole show, and that would be kind of pointless.
The first time I saw the Big Web Hit I was like "Yes...YES...YES?!?!?!?!?!!---:o.......Oh. :(" But I did like the little segment by Hal Sparks and Loni Love and the others. Especially Hal's comment at the end about Al being talented and stuff. :D

Yeah, Hal Sparks made some of the best comments about Al I've ever heard. He really put it into perspective nicely.

To paraphrase for those who missed it: "Weird Al's versions are AS GOOD as the original artists', plus he adds jokes. It's about time people realized how awesome that is."

The way he said it was a little better put, but you get the idea.

Thanks for the info. I didn't know it was taped. I thought It was a live event. Anyway, it was an AWESOME performance, and Al and the band are AMAZING! :Y

Holy choreography, Batman! That was an absolutely amazing performance! Great job by Al, the band, the gangstas and the nerds! I loved how each nerd was holding a different nerdy item.

Al's performance was truly awesome, but what really impressed me was the incredibly wonderful comments made about him when they were announcing his name for the award he was up for. FINALLY, Al is getting some REAL respect and admiration....from people other than us!!!

Well, technically, it was all done live, they just had the awards show the day before VH-1 aired it. It looks like they didn't edit anything out.
