I'll never forget the last concert of 2007, at the Greek, when Al came over to me during WBUL and put his ankle on my SHOULDER while he sang to me.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

Oh, my, Helen! I've had him standing close enough to the edge of the stage to where I could grab his ankles, *of course, I didn't* but, he's never been close enough while roaming through the crowd for anything like that! How cool! I bet you laughed hysterically.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

I probably would've passed out if I were you, Helen.

When I saw him in Stroudsburg last year, I was in the front row, and at the very end he ran across the stage slapping everyone's hand. Well, his hands were so sweaty that my hand like stuck to his and plus I didn't want to let go so when he slapped my hand, it took like five seconds for me to finally let go! I shouldn't have washed that hand, but unfortunatly I did end up doing so.

To my stepdad Al said "Nice spatula"

... must be a spatula thing :P

At my second meeting of Al, I asked him "would you please sign my accordion" to which he replied

"I would be honored"

... I thought that was a really sweet thing to say :inlove:
