I don't believe he brings her to remind himself to stay faithful to his wife. When he talks about her Interviews it seems that he adores her. Like Vikté said, Al doesn't seem like the type that is easy to bend to other will. If he doesn't want to do something then he won't do it. So, Al brings Suzanne because he wants to. The Biography Remastered when Suzanne talks about the fake trailer of the movie of Al's life she said something like "Yeah, the drinking...the women. Ohh." That tells me that Suzanne doesn't need piece of mind. It seems to me that Suzanne thinks Al has the street cred of a basket of kittens. As Alicia said...he did manage very well.[/quote]

Well, he is a man and supposedly not gay.....so... a little insurance can't hurt.

It's not like every straight man tries to have sex with every woman he comes across. Otherwise those backstage meet and greets would go a LOT differently.

All Of the members of WOWAY put together wouldn't be able to get you untangled from his chest hair if the meet and greets were carried out differently....

Actually, Suzanne should show a bit of jealousy for her man. Not crazy jealousy, but enough to let him know that she recognizes his desirability, especially because he had such a hard time with girls in his high school and college years. Those feelings of not being desirable stay with you and it's nice to know that someone who loves you thinks you're good enough to protect.
I do believe that Al is trustworthy, but it is nice for him to know that his woman is feeling like he's got something those bunnies would want. :accordion:

Showing jealousy just because "I bet it would make Al feel sexy if I gave some attitude to that nearly naked lady" would be quite stupid. There are enough better ways to show appreciation and attraction than faking jealousy when you know for for a fact he won't be seduced by some bimbo.
And if there's any other reason Al brings Suzanne to such events than weirding people out, it's for showing them that she doesn't mind, because otherwise they'd risk gossip, like "Weird Al is bored of marital routine and likes to look at other women's boobs behind his wife's back!". So if anything, it's a protection against gossip, not "overwhelming temptation".

Agreed. Also, if she were to show jealousy for something like that, then wouldn't she have to do the same for the IWBUL routine. He is basically giving fan girls lap dances and the suggestive pelvic thrusts are are a dream of all Yankochicks. We love it, but we know that it's just part of the act. No more, no less. This foil fashion contest happened last year after Mandatory Fun came out. So, someone came up with this obviously because of Foil. Even though I'm sure he had the choice to do it or not and went Along with it because hey why not? There is not much information about it as far as I can tell aside from a few pictures so that tells me that it wasn't that big of a deal. I'm sure Suzanne has her own way of letting Al know that she is attracted to him and finds him desirable. I'm sure Al is aware of how desirable his lady fans find him. He is not that awkward kid anymore. He is a fully grown man, whom states often that he has the life that he wants. I'm sure that includes the woman he wants, Suzanne. I'm done rambling now...

One last thought on the foil contest.....I was in a situation where I was around some hot guys. I felt so pretty, girlie when my significant other was so visibly nervous about it. I really felt his love at that moment!!! :inlove:

You're a teenager, and they're in their fifties, I think it a significant difference when it comes to relationship dynamics

Also because like, surprise!, couples enjoy doing things together. Suzanne is a human being and enjoys going to fun events as much as the next person, so why wouldn't Al bring her along every chance he gets?

Regarding WBUL, whenever Suzanne is in the audience, Al always does sooo much more with her than the routine stuff he does with the randoms. I don't think she minds at all. Like I said, she's a very cool lady. I've never officially met her, but you can tell these things about real life people who are not one dimensional sit-com characters. Al and Suzanne are both very smart, mature adults who know a lot about life. I doubt either of them would resort to something as immature and petty as jealousy just because they're around other attractive people.
