Perhaps I'm the only person that thinks this is cool. I'm excited for the Yo Gabba Gabba appearance, if in fact there is one. I'm way older than the target demographic for this show, but I'm strangely mesmerized by it. Maybe I enjoy it because it's co-created by MC Bat Commander (aka Christian Jacobs) from the Aquabats. I love me some Aquabats.

You know, I thought some of those costumes looked familiar. Especially the one-eyed red monster!

I've never heard of Yo Gabba Gabba. This is definitely not as exciting as the prospect of a Beatles style parody.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

Quite the opposite, in fact.
This means something. This is important.

I feel like Al probably posted that picture just for people to go WTF? but then saw the reaction and didn't want to raise expectations only to disappoint people when they hear the album later, so he released this photo.

Regardless it was a nice 24-hour tease, and I hope he's still considering an all-Beatles polka medley or career-spanning style parody.

For those of you who aren't (vaugely) familiar with Yo Gabba Gabba, I haven't sat down and watched it myself either. But, I have seen clips of the show being mocked and ridiculed on E!s' "The Soup". Like I said in a similar thread, there is a very sick and disturbed part of me that secretly wishes Al's appearance happenes to provide enough comic fodder for Joel McHale.

Who knows? Maybe they could be getitng Al to sing a Sgt. Pepper-esque song just for this show (however horrfiying it may turn out to be.)

Still, an Al appearance on "The Soup" in any capacity wopuld be great...and I can't wait for the new production heavy possible album closer or the new ads for the Essentials (hoping they're something more than just clips of Al's videos being shown while some stupid announcer person says stuff)

I guess the Yankovics really love Disneyland.
At Disneyland today. Will let you know if the Jungle Cruise skipper throws me overboard.
