Dear @thomaslennon: my posse and I demand that you have a HAPPY BIRTHDAY. And we MEAN IT.
At first I was like "this is amazing"
Then I was like "he's wearing Adrian's shirt"
Now it's the best thing ever

I remember seeing those guys at the Sylvania show. Pretty cool.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

Yes, I did indeed make that shirt for Al. :ttr:

I had actually made one for myself and wore it to a show, and both he and Jon liked it, so I provided them both with their own the next time I saw them. Very proud that it snuck into this awesome picture. :whoot:

Al's most recent tweet (most recent meaning about 4 minutes ago) is my favorite of his quite possibly ever.

"Enjoyed SNL’s Ylvis parody on Saturday. I’ll bet they’re working on a Lonely Island parody next! #CantWait"

He's starting to talk some trash with his competitors! xD I thought the SNL Ylvis parody was alright, not really good, I just love the point Al's making.

I also loved his sports joke earlier today:

"My ping pong skills are adequate but unremarkable. I like to think of myself as the Michael Jordan of baseball of ping pong."

Surprisingly, I actually thought "We Did Stop (The Government)" was actually better. If SNL is going to continue parodying music videos on a regular basis, I will give them one more chance before I judge this to be a successful venture or not.

There's no question that "We Did Stop" was much better. I've always wanted to see SNL do regular song parodies, and both Jay Pharaoh and Kerry Washington performed well but the lyrics peaked too early. It pretty much just meandered after the first chorus.

I just had a conversation with Sally. It was pretty surreal, but I stayed pretty grounded during our conversation. She was very nice and asked me a couple questions. Since I'm from Dallas, she asked about the weather and a couple other things. At the end we wished each other Merry Christmas/Happy New Year, before she told me she would do the same for me with Al and everyone else. I think I might have been one of the last people on the phone with her, because Al posted the picture of her with a couple minutes later.

She's very nice! I was surprised at a couple of things: That it was so busy (I guess every payphone Al tweets about is destined to become super popular) and that I actually got through after realizing the former.
