Just saw the final of Weird Al's CNR video! I get kicked, then eaten by Charles Nelson Reilly! He also eats my car.

I was gonna post the link to the Shockhound page...Not if I have anything to do with it MUHAHAHAHA...oh, well...you win again, moderator
I have to say my expectations were definitely a little lowered with this one, but still I'M LAUGHING ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!
I think I can guess how Al might have come up with this one. As we all know, Al claims to be a big fan and supporter of animation and is a fan of "The Simpsons". In their 9th season, they did an episode called "The Trouble With Trillions" in which Homer gets in to some serious tax trouble and has to become an FBI informant....anyway, long story short, Homer, Burns and Smithers end up taking the only U.S trillion dollar bill in existence to Cuba. My guess is that he at one point may have owned Season 9 on DVD and was listening to the commentary for this episode where the writers/producers/whoever start talking about how a lot of characters in the show use Charles Nelson Reilly's famous nervous reaction from time to time as a running gag. If my memory serves me correctly, they were also getting around to how the show uses a lot of references geared towards the older crowd again and someone jokingly said something to the effect of "all the kids know who Charles Nelson Reilly is...he's huge with them... 'CNR', they call him..." (at least that must be how he came up with the title) and then I'm guessing he previously had the idea that he wanted to somehow play off of the whole "Chuck Norris facts" phenomena for one of the originals for the next album with the worst subject for such a thing, so he added that to his list of future subjects for original songs.
In one of his recent podcast type interviews, Al mentioned that for his original songs, he has a list of subjects/ideas and a list of specific styles/bands to emulate and at one point his eyes landed on "Doors" and "Craigslist" right next to each other and thought "well, that seems hilariously wrong" and...well, we all know the rest...
I'm guessing he did the exact same thing for this new one, except he thought it would be more ''wrong" than Craigslist was...'nuff said....
Someone else said "look at amazon for the latest preview"...I'm gonna do that right now...yes, they have the exact same sample
Boy, Al and/or his record company plus Ludo Vicah must be pretty steamed right now...I think it's time someone updated the spoiler timeline...

Here's my best guess...The thing @ July 31, 2009 07:58 pm wrote: So, what are the lyrics we know so far? I can't understand all of 'em
SPOILER Charles Nelson Reilly won the Tour De France
with two flat tires and a missing chain
He trained a rattlesnake to do his laundry
I'm tellin' you the man was insane
He could rip out your beatin' heart
and show it to ya right before ya died
Every day, he made the host of Match Game
give him a piggy back ride
yeah, a two hour piggy back ride
Also, I'm shocked that that lame cover art didn't have any pics of Al or Bermuda from the JibJab vid...it's just the title in big letters...lame...
How 'bout some speculatin' as to what specific song(s) Al used for this one?

I didn't realize until after that he's from Match Game...and even before, I thought the Match Game lyric was just a random TV name drop.
I'm disappointed because I expected a very "Seven Nation Army" kind of style but...Wow, I would *love* for this to be on Guitar Hero so much.
