Well, good luck to anyone who goes through with the petitions for this show. I hope you all are successful.
I plan on getting to the park most likely sometime around 2 or 3. Hoping that this show turns out better than Youngstown...I might be 'special!!'...that'd be great...

Looks like I'm the first one back from the show. Fred is here counting her Yankobucks. She had a photo pass and was allowed in the area between the stage and the fence. Most of the Y-Bucks, of course, fell in there and she picked up about $1,000,000 worth. We'll report back after we're finished counting.
Anyway, I'm a happy camper. I got a big hug from Al. He's such a sweetie.

...and so huggable!

Well, Kings Island turned out to be a great experience.
The show was pretty normal. No video mishaps as in Bob last night. There were 6 stormtroopers and a Darth Vader tonight. I got to meet them backstage after the show. They were really nice, and glad that they got to be in the show.
I then met Al backstage. Once I went in, he recognized me from my 26 previous shows...and said it was really nice to see me again. I told him tonight was my 27th show, and he said that was a great number for shows. He then personalized my ticket, and wrote a huge #27 in a circle. When I got my photo with him, I was leaning down with him and I guess he thought I was close enough, so he gave me a Yankohug, lol. So I'm a guy, and I've been sung to in Wanna B Ur Lovr at Cypress Gardens and have now gotten a Yankohug, lol. I then talked to him for a little while longer and left. I then tried to find Jim, who is the whole reason I had the pass to begin with. However, security was rushing people out after they had met Al. So, I didn't get to see Jim and have the CD signed, and thank him for the passes..but at least I did have such a good experience with Al...which is very uncommon at Kings Island.
It was such a nice day in the park, and to cap it off with a perfect Al show and aftershow experience..and get to watch the end of Saturday Night's Main Event while doing this review....it's been a great Al day!!

Wow, tell Fred congrats on all those Yankobucks! Still don't have any myself. Glad you got a hug from Al, Carol!
Alinite, glad you had a good time, and got to meet Al again. Congrats on the hug. Nothing wrong with a guy getting a hug from Al.

Thanks Patti. I didn't mean to imply that there was anything wrong with it..it just shocked me kinda that Al gave me a hug. It was great, though...I'm glad he did.

Re: Bob No video mishaps; perhaps a lapse in a synapse? Thank you AV club for your assistance!
Re: Storm troopers-I counted 8, not that it matters to most of us, but I suppose it might matter to the two that were overlooked. (?)
I'd have to disagree with you re: K.I. 2 of my 3 KI experiences culminated with an Al "experience". Not a bad average....
Am I right, ladies?
and you know who you are!

Ah yes, the show was great. Wow Fred, thats a lot of bucks!!
we didn't stick around last night to see if we could talk to Al, just because we had such a long drive ahead of us. We got home about 3 a.m. AFter eating at Perkins, which has renewed my faith in that restaurant chain.
We spent the entire day at the park, a good part of it at Boomerang Bay just floating in the wave pool.. then we walked around the park the rest of the time.. good fun. Nice and relaxing and not too hot!
The show was awesome!! Typical. There were some things that Al did differently that made me giggle. Just small little things. Like.. extra hip wiggles, oh.. forgetting the next line in Bob and having to turn and look at the screen, Head Cheese Donuts, and Tuna flavored donuts..
The storm troopers and Vader were such a very cool suprise!! Omg that was awesome. And I may have some *cough* thing of that whole part of the show.
Anyhow, great fun. I lost my voice and my significant other told me I sounded sexy.
What a great day. I'm worn out, but not enough to miss tonights show! I'm going back to bed now.. zzzzzzzzz

Kaffy - you were fun to sit by - I agree with your comments on the "extras".
It was a different experience for me to be sans family. Having WOWAYers who were really into it on either side of me was refreshing! That's the way to experience an Al show!
Wish there were a few more I could go to, but....alas.... sigh..... until next tour. :9~ I'll have to rely on memories and photos and other *cough* things.
