So RyRy got one. Anyone else?
Wait what? I didn't spend $1500. I just got the platinum box with one test pressing.

I love Al enough to pay $500 for albums I already have, but not $1500 for albums I already have.

Quick question about that video: Why is he in jail at the end of Even Worse (while "Lasagna" is playing)? Am I just missing something here? Other than that, that video is awesome (although I don't really understand why each tracklist is jumbled up).

I bought the $225 bundle. I didn't feel like springing any more than that. I wanna know about those socks, sort of, but I'm okay with what I'm getting. Kinda wanted one of the test pressing albums, but it's not a huge deal. I might get the vinyl collection when it actually comes out, assuming it can be found easily.

I would guess that most of the rarities will be demo tracks and originals, not much in the way of unheard or unreleased parodies. If Al couldn't release or record something 30 years ago because of licensing issues or the original artist disapproved, that would probably still be the case in 2017. So I would dial my hopes back from lost studio recordings of Chicken Pot Pie or Laundry Day and more towards Beatles Anthology type stuff, foreign language versions like the Japanese Jurassic Park, studio demos, and maybe a live recording or two like the King Biscuit Flower Hour tracks

Did anyone notice that in the video some of the tracks are presented in a different order than on the album? Is that just so that the video animator could grab the song he wanted at the time he wanted? I would assume we get the tracks in the order they were originally released. Not much sense in changing track order.
I wish they sold the socks separate from the bundle! I would totally buy 7 pairs, one for each day of the week!

Guessing the shuffled tracklists in the video are just for pacing purposes, so they can sample the tracks in red with enough songs in between as a buffer.
There is one mistake in the video that I caught - "Mandatory Fun" came out in 2014, not 2016!

Yeah, I kind of assumed that's why the order was shuffled but again WHY IS HE IN JAIL AT THE END OF EVEN WORSE DURING "LASAGNA"?!!! WHAT?!

I wondered the same thing, but unfortunately do not have an answer for you. Only thing I can come up with is Al does things that should land someone in jail in the songs "Melanie" and "Good Old Days', but he doesn't actually go to jail in either of those songs.
Welp, as much as I'd like all the other goodies that come with the larger sets, I can't justify spending that much for them just to have vinyl versions. I would be getting the vinyl just to have them. . .which is nice, but I don't have a working turntable to actually
play them on, so that's kind of lame. I'd really prefer to get the digital version (audio-wise), but I will likely break down and get the CDs since I want the accordion packaging, plus they come with the socks and pennant, so that's nice. And it looks like the CDs still come in LP-sized sleeves, which is usually my main reason for ever buying vinyl anymore. (The artwork.)
