does anyone know if SOL was re-issued as a regular CD, or is that the canadian one or something?

Other countries it was released as a 2 disc set. Could be from any number of them

I don't know if SOL has been reissued in the USA (though I do have my suspicions), but that is most definitely not the Canadian issue.

The Canadian CD has the standard "COMPACT disc" industry logo on the left-hand side and copyright information over Al's foot. Plus, the disc in that eBay auction also has a Sony BMG logo at the bottom, which isn't on the Canadian issue (though it could have been added during a later run).

After I read the first paragraph here, I assumed you were going to say something like "The Canadian issue has a totally different image on the cover. It looks absolutely nothing like that at all." It's so awesome that you were able to tell by those minor differences that this was not the Canadian issue. I am very grateful for fans who can keep track of things like this so that I don't have to!

My UK purchased copy of SOL is the one disc "dual disc" version.. Never seen the 2 cd set in this country at all. Thought that was just Canada

That disc on ebay is strange to me.. It says its a dual disc.. but mine has nothing printed on either side, its just silver

Sadly (in this case anyway), eBay allows sellers to add automated info and specs on media items.

The Dualdisc by its very nature wouldn't have any art printed on either side, as data has to go on each side, so that disc in the auction is clearly from a CD/DVD set..but the seller just had eBay enter in all the info from the normal U.S. Dualdisc version.

This cracks me up because it looks nothing like Weird Al. The mustache is the only thing that slightly resembles Al's, but Al never went mustache only sans glasses¹. And he doesn't go around wearing white suits or striped ties either¹. Plus what's up with the Beatles hair? Also, pretty disturbing, why are his arms grey and his hands black? Wonder if it was made by the same guy who tried to pass that Coolio Singin' In The Rain statue off as Al.

And then there's this guy who uses Weird Al and Yahoo Serious ( ) as selling points for his CD even though neither artist appear on the disc!

Also there's some VIP seats up for Al's Westbury and PNC Bark Arts Center concerts for anyone who likes overpaying for things and has an extra $1000 or so lying around that they don't know what to do with.
