Go forth and spread the word....seems a little more likely than the Super Bowl........

Have you watched SNL lately? I wouldn't want to see Al on there, ugh, he's so much better than that.

I know this an extremely contrarian opinion, but I actually thought last season was better than the few that came before it. It was just so transitional and clearly unpolished, there was something exciting about it. I didn't really mind that a lot of the sketches sucked. (Plus I was usually while watching...)

To answer the question: He's funny.

I love SNL all the time and I think if Al were on there twelve year old me would have a heart attack. Retroactively. Also, nineteen year old me, currently.

Ironically, where SNL is thriving right now is in their pre-taped bits. This season has had a number of standouts, but for me Ooh Child and Midnight Coterie of Sinister Intruders are two of the funniest sketches I've ever seen on the show (and I've been watching for a long, long time.)

Edit: And I'd love to see Al on there doing some characters. I guarantee he would put more effort into it than a lot of hosts do, and that's really what makes or breaks an episode more than anything else.

I really love Saturday Night Live and I was wondering why Al has never hosted the show. He would be a perfect host and a perfect musical guest!
Do you guys know why he has never hosted? Did they actually ask him and he turned them down for some reason or are they just afraid of his talent?

I hope this will happen one day!
