World of Weird Al Yankovic

I had a dream last night (this morning) that Suzanne and my mom were acquainted somehow on facebook and Suzanne asked if I wanted to go stay with the Yankovic's for a week. (I think I dreamt this because I've been making plans to stay at a lot of peoples' houses lately) Of course, I was thrilled. So my mom and I met up with Suzanne halfway and then she took me back to her house. Somehow my town (which is wayyyy over on the east coast) ended up on the west side of the country, so LA was only a few hours away. For some reason it was snowing in LA but it was still warm out. I got to meet the three Yankovics and just hung around with them. I remember sitting in their kitchen watching brownies being baked and I looked outside and saw Al and Suzanne sitting in their yard. Al was reading a book and Suzanne was talking to a friend they had invited over to visit for a bit. It all felt SOOO real and I remember thinking to myself "This is by far the best summer of my life!!!". I was extremely starstruck to be around Al at first, but then I started getting used to him and we would goof around together and stuff. Just as Al and I were starting to become good friends, I woke up. I was really really sad when I realized that it was all a dream. But I've gotten over my sadness and I keep thinking how awesome of a dream it was.

I had a dream last night that my friend and I went to a concert but he was having a concert at the auditorium at the High School I went to. It was sold out so after she show we ran as fast as we could to try to get backstage but we noticed that no one except for us wanted to go backstage so we were the only ones back there. I dont remember what any of us said if anything but for some reason i had tin foil and something else wrapped around my face as some kind of mask that after we took the picture and left i was very angry that i didnt take it off and i was yelling at random people about how they didnt remind me to take it off. I dont remember much else since i woke up but it was really weird

Had a dream last night that Al was a voice over on American Idol but the show was absolutley crazy this season and there were elephants all around and people doing crazy things and most of the audience was made up of former people who were on the show. It was really weird

I've had quite a few Weird Al dreams during my mid-teens. In one I was trying to flirt with him but he was rather put off by my fangirling. Then I told Al that I just wanted to be friends with him, and he hugged me.

I had two Weird Al related dreams recently. In one, I was somehow listening to "Poker Face" on my mp3 player, and when I tried to change it to "Polka Face", I got an instrumental version of Smells Like Nirvana or something. The other dream was about me being at a picnic for a school field trip, and my teacher had a radio that he played "My Sharona" out of. I sang aloud very loudly and obnoxiously with "My Bologna", and I guess at some point the song that was playing changed to "My Bologna".

I dreamt Weird Al commented on my you're pitiful animash and tweeted it^^ god I wish that dream would never end^^

A few nights ago, I dreamed that I was a jedi, fighting Darth Vader. I (almost) defeated him, and managed to get him tied to a chair. I took the Darth Vader helmet off him, and realized it was Weird Al! I dropped my lightsabre, and bowed down in front of him. I said, "I must apologize, my leader. I did not wish to harm you." And he said, "It is okay my child. You are forgiven." Gosh...too much Weird Al lately! (Is there such a thing?)

Last night I dreamt about a strange Al show. It's actually the second dream I've had where the setting is not normal. Al and the band were playing on a big grassy field - no stage - and there were no seats for the audience. Instead, it was a bunch of cabins arranged in a semi-circle, but they were open at the back, sort of like you would see on a movie set where the front looks like a real house, but the back is just wide open. Fans piled behind these cabin fronts and looked through windows to see the show. Weird, I know. Myself and a friend were in a cabin near Steve's side of the field and there were several rows of people standing in front of us until the end, when we managed to move up to the front. My friend had brought along fake beards to wear during Amish Paradise and his beard was just like Al's, but the one he gave me was blonde. Towards the end of the show, the band played 2 songs I didn't even know, and one was just with acoustic guitar and vocals. I think it's because they were having technical issues. I remember thinking that I needed to make sure to tell the WOWAY forum about the different songs. When the show was over, Bermuda came into our cabin, and even though it was really dark, he somehow recognized me and gave a huge smile.

This is my other strange dream from a couple of months ago. This particular Al show took place in the ladies section of a department store (seriously... very odd). The thing is, nobody really knew about the show because it was an extremely last-minute booking, plus it was a stupid place to have a show in the first place, so it turned out that only myself and a friend had actually bought tickets. There was a big banquet table in front of our seats, and other than a few employees standing around watching, we were the only ones there. The stage was just a tiny temporary riser that was a foot or two off the ground, and Al and the band were mad at us for coming, because if we hadn't come, they could have just cancelled, but because we showed up with tickets, they had to perform the entire show just for the two of us in a lame department store! When we found out how we had affected things (after the fact), we felt really bad and really wished they had told us, because we would have just ditched the tickets and offered to take them all out for dinner or something instead. Oh yeah, and Suzanne was working as a stage manager or techie, because she was walking around the stage with a headset on. There were no video screens set up in either of my dreams.

Anyway... weird dreams!

Just last night I dreamt I came across a performance of Bare Naked Ladies singing Canadian Idiot -- and the did a really nice job with it, acoustic harmonies and all.
