Come to think of it, that would be really funny.

eBaumsworld has a new set of material added to their site everyday and TitDT happens to be one of them for today/tomorow depending on what Time Zone you live in.

I was just makin' a reference to the K-Fed interview:
"Yes! I am touring!"
"Uh-huh...why?"

I thought the video was just all right...maybe not overly ambitious (technique notwithstanding), but neither were the R. Kelly videos for that matter. There were a few decent sight gags and the overall art style worked for the video, but ultimately it was rather forgettable. That's not the fault of the animation crew, since I can't imagine much else one could do with it without veering so far off the concept of the song parody that one might as well be watching a screen saver with the song in the background. Probably the only element I personally would have done differently would have been to have the husband rocking to "Black Dog" instead of being equally frazzled by it.
Count me in as someone who's been thinking how funny it would be for Al to do a puppet video at this point. I love animation, but the concept of using it for this album's videos has been thoroughly beaten to the ground and urinated on. Yes, everyone who has been involved with these videos is extremely talented and they certainly do the songs some justice, but after eight videos it's getting a little redundant.
Since it seems almost inevitable that the other three songs off the album are going to get videos (yeah, I know "Polkarama!" already had one on "Al-TV," but the chance of seeing one of those collage videos on a DVD release is only slightly greater than seeing a clay-animated video for "Orgy on My Own"), Al should definitely become more creatively involved now that we're in the home stretch. And now that it seems as if the MuchMusic fan thing has been cancelled, a normal, vanilla live action video for "Canadian Idiot" would be just fine (and refreshing) at this point...heck, even if it's just footage from a live performance interspersed with clips of Al on the road lip-synching next to U.S. landmarks (think like Phil Collins's "Take Me Home" video).

Whoops, didn't catch that reference for some reason. :^)

Couldn't have said it better myself!

Agreed. These animated videos are nice, but a full, live-action, Al involved video would be much better.
