I'm sure he will play at New Orleans. I would think most performing artists would leap at the opportunity to show their support to New Orleans after Katrina.

Well Al probably wants to, it just depends on if the promoters want Al....

Well, they had him there before the hurricane, so I don't see why they wouldn't want him this time. I would think that they would want to get as many celebs to come to the city as possible to show that they're rebuilding the city.

I know, just saying that Al doesn't get to decide... :P

Plus since there's going to be such a high demand for celebs to come, Al, unfortunately will be put on the backburner for more *popular* people such as Spears, Backstreet boys. <_<

 The Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears are still in high demand? Man, I need to start paying more attention to music.

You and me both, Kevbo.

Driew, I don't think Al will be on the back burner at all. Not with those two choices. BSB aren't really doing anything, and Britney Spears? I don't think she's as big a draw as she used to be.

About the setlist, I think that Jerry Springer will be dropped for something obscure-ish, like The White Stuff.

I don't think Al would have to compete for attention with the likes of Spears etc. anyhow. Totally different audiences, for one thing, and none of them would likely play at HoB. That's a fairly small venue geared towards more intimate audiences. I do think putting a bug in HoB's ear that we would love for them to schedule Al on his next tour probably wouldn't hurt. 8)
