Nice poem, Karen. Yes, I'm ready for the new cd. Come on, March! *That's what I'm hoping for*
AlRox, I'm with you. I like the goatee. Al had one when I first met him. He looked great.

The Beginning of Weird Al
One day, a long long time ago,
There was a young boy named Alfred,
He could play the accordion incredibly well,
And put his foot behind his head,
And soon, when Al was a teen,
He recorded a humorous song,
He sent it in to Dr. Demento,
And then, it wasnt so long,
Before young Al had a following,
Of weirdos that liked Dr. D,
And remember now, people, that these were the days
Before the C.D. and the M.P3
Then soon, when Al heard that The Knack
Were performing the song My Sharona,
Our Al went into the bathroom
And recorded a song, My Bologna
The Knack appreciated this parody,
And arranged for it to be released,
Dr. D put it on his Funny Five,
And his fan numbers slightly increased,
And now, look at him, hes a big star,
His songs are heard everywhere,
And hopefully, hell be around for a long time,
With those Hawaiian shirts and curly hair.

Don't boast, you'll make me cry!

No, actually, I was offline for a while, then came back on early this morning *for me, anyway, since it is now 5:47 am here* I got online around 4:00 am, I believe.
I can't sleep. New cd excitement and all!
Sorry about the bragging, but I'm one of the people who thought she'd never meet Al. Who knows, you may get a chance someday. Never say never.

Thanks. Maybe I'll write a book of Al's life expressed through poetry and cartoons... nah, I'm too lazy.
