World of Weird Al Yankovic

I went ahead and pre-ordered the no-frills LP version. I'm very curious about Medium Rarities. I assume it'll certainly have "Headline News", "Spy Hard", "My Bologna" [bathroom], and "School Cafeteria" [bathroom]. Likely also "Polkamon" (the timing would be right) and "The Night Santa Went Crazy" [Extra Gory Version]. After that, I'm stumped. I'd love for a "Alternative Polka" with "Buddy Holly" re-added, as well as "It's Still Billy Joel to Me", "Yoda" [demo], "I Love Rocky Road" [demo], "Pac-Man", "Baby Likes Burping" , and all three original songs from the ARtB EP.

I'm also really, really hoping that Al recorded some older parodies that are fully-fleshed out, but do not have legit version available, like "Theme from Home Improvement", "I'm in Luv Wit Da Skipper", etc. etc. I realize some of those might need rights cleared/permission granted (like "Pac-Man"), but I could see some people softening their rejection after years and years.

Very exciting! Can't wait to get my hands on this.

As for which version, I'm debating between the Vinyl or CD Bundle. I'd love the gold or platinum sets, but I can't justify spending that much money, even on something this awesome.

It's one of the first pressings that the factory makes of the vinyl to make sure it's all sounding okay before making thousands more copies.

What is an "access pass?" I see it listed next to the items on the pre-order page.

EDIT: Just realized up top it says it gives us "access to this artists updates. Anyone know exactly what this refers to? Just another term for "be on the email list?"

I got the Platinum vinyl package with Even Worse as my test printing choice. It was the first album I really fell in love with. I was seven when it came out.

So I'm slowly convincing myself to go vinyl. I want that turntable mat.

And the test pressing thing bothers me. They usually only make a handful of copies. Like less than a dozen. They are pressing probably a thousand of these in various amounts of each album. Its just the regular album with a white label
