Saw it for the first time a few weeks ago and it is hilarious so it would be awesome to see him on this show!!

I completely agree that a guest appearance on Modern Family would be fantastic. He could just be visiting the set though.

I wonder how they'll integrate him into the show if it was a guest appearance. I hope it really was a guest appearance! Great show, IMHO.

I love this time lapse video of setting up all of the gear for an Al concert. Does anyone know anything about the video taken from what looks to be an airplane hanger? It looks like the equipment is being lowered on a massive platform with an airplane in the background. I remember Al tweeting a picture of him with a jet in the background but don't remember the circumstances.

I think that's the Grand Sierra Resort theater stage in Reno.

I watched it second by second and its pretty funny how they do the soundcheck in the order they do it, kinda surprised Al even has to go out to the stage, I figured they had someone who jus did his check for him, and that maybe he just got the accordion all ready backstage. Steve just sittin' by his cab is hilarious when everybody else is also doing the soundcheck, he's like man, its early. Pretty cool and interesting to see the order in which they do all that stuff though, even though they have one of the simplest concert set-ups. Didn't catch the guys flippin' off the camera, just saw them really quick, missed the fingers.

Al's not so big he can't do his own soundcheck. If you show up early enough you can even hear it outside some venues. Or if they leave the doors open you can sneak a peak
