Hey, Anne is in this one! Her costume was actually from 1996, but I don't think she'll care about that part when she sees this. :ttr:

I like the Fat Costume one. I'm surprised of all the people dressed as Al, only one person dressed as a specific Al costume.

It's interesting to see the large percentage that go for "vintage AL" with the glasses and shorter hair.

Even though he has had the current look for almost as much time as he had his old look, he is still more recognizable as classic Al

And also it's a much easier costume to pull off, unless you happen to be Al, Kenny G, or Kevin Cable.

Also, if you're a girl wanting to dress like Weird Al, if you go mustacheless and long-haired, you run the risk of looking like... a girl.

Classic Al is funnier, too!

Haha, well, his face is still showing, and that's totally recognizable. That's a lotta hair to shove under a hat, though.

Wow, that's kinda neat... this is the first pic I've ever seen where he appears to be disguising himself. Are there any others? I bet it makes a big difference from the back, and from the front, if he wore sunglasses as well, I bet that would be even better. The devoted fans would still know him, of course, but to the average person on the street who wasn't expecting to see him...

Must have been hot under that hat, but on the plus side, at least his neck would have gotten more breeze! :D (speaking as a long-haired person myself!)
