has anyone heard of DaveDays? He's on youtube. He has made parodies of Miley cyrus and actually met the real Miley just by becoming so popular on youtube. He's then been in MTV videos met the Kutcher family and still has contact with them to this day. He even went to the kutcher's house and Demi Moore let him wear her bikini. I think he could be the new weird al if he really works at it. I also met him to. He has the humor etc that Al has and is always inventing new humor or creative stuff that I have never seen anyone else achieve on Youtube. I believe at one time it was debatable that he was the number 1 youtube celeb of one year i think in 2009. His bieber baby parody is hilarious. He recreates the music exactly like Al does. The line that I like from dave's bieber parody is Puberty sucks sometimes. It's about Bieber being such a baby that he get's what he wants.

I love DaveDays! He doesn't do as many parodies, but his cover of "Down" is excellent. He definitely has the potential and the talent, but I lump him in the "just another YouTube parodist" category (the top of that pile though, along with the Key of Awesome).
(BTW- His "Baby" parody isn't about JB getting whatever he wants, it's about him being 16 and not knowing what love is...despite him singing about it.)

I admire the fact that DaveDays actually plays all of the instruments on his tracks. They sound really good for being home recorded.
He's also a talented writer of original funny songs.

Where did he attack Al for giving the Perform This Way profits to charity?
edit: Looked him up. This guy sucks. There's nothing to his songs besides "lol racism." It makes me sad that he's actually popular.
Ha.
I like him.

I think he's kinda funny.
Ah well.

Like I said, his songs are fairly hit or miss with me personally but his personality is quite irritating. Al is truly the greater musician by far.

Al is better, by far. I just like Nucka a bit more than most seem to.

he's gold buried deep in a cave no one will ever ever find, rendering it meaningless.

A lot of people use race in their comedy. It's not the highest road to take, but I see it on tv all the time.
But I like a lot of 'crude' or 'cringe' style comedy so, eh. I like Jeff Foxworthy as much as I like, say, Jim Norton, who's extremely filthy. To each their own.

Well, sometimes laughter has to be made at the expense of other people. All those America`s Funniest Home Videos are funny to us, but has anyone had a thought for the one who just fell off the trampoline - or "down from the roof, right on the lawn, face first on a rake"?
Clean jokes that don`t mock anyone are actually pretty rare. There are blonde jokes, which I find to be a great insult. The stepmother jokes are also kind of an insult because of the stereotype. But overall, we have always find some scapegoat to laugh at.
Funny to think Al rarely does that kind of thing. So the next Al might need to be someone who doesn`t mock a certain kind of people. I guess it has to be someone who can make quick jokes (considering lyric lengths) and also gifted in most types of humor, even some dark humor if needed.
