I never said agree with everything he says, I just get sick of seeing the same post from the same person for every song saying Al should have promoted it. He knows that to sell an album he needs to promote it, he's done it 12 times before. So it is just annoying to see that he should have promoted it better. Al knows how the business works a little better than any of us, so I'm sure he is doing things for a reason. And he did promote Craigslist, so you can't say he hasn't done any promotion.

Maybe im crazy.

But isnt the front page of weirdal.com a giant picture of Skipper Dan?

Didn't he make tweets, a bulletin, facebook update, and youtube update involving his new songs?

Isn't he doing radio and magazine interviews to get his name out in the general public again?

I believe the point of these tracks is to refresh the general public so they will be ready for his new album, WHEN it comes out. These new songs are coming to us BECAUSE of the free, online medium...not DESPITE of it.

You don't get it, Weird Alan.

Al said he was hoping these songs would be his first originals to chart. Yet he didn't do any ADVANCE promotion for them. So let's break down this math for all you non-business majors out there:

Al wanted them to chart + Al didn't promote them in advance = The song didn't chart.

Can anyone figure out what's wrong with that formula??

IT'S NOT ABOUT DR WHO!

THE TITLE/TOPIC HAS BEEN REVEALED AS WELL AS A SHORT CLIP.

SPOILER
It's called CNR and is apparently about Charles Nelson Reilly.

Mod Edit--its iffy but I'm gonna remove that link even if its a 30 second clip.

Since this is the spoiler section, do we really need to use spoiler tags?

Charles Nelson Reilly huh? That's a very strange subject for a song. And why CNR? This should be very interesting.
