Al has an enormous tolerance for fan-related "stupidity." As long as you were reasonably courteous (and didn't include any parody ideas), he'll be happy to get it.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

I didn't send him any parody ideas. And I was veeeeeeeery polite. I would never want to offend The Weird One... But my letter was pretty much saying "Oh Al, you're the greatest, I have all your CD's, I've seen UHF fifty times." The typical fan letter.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the "typical fan letter."

I, on the other hand, sent him four pages. With footnotes. :S

what is the address that u send a letter to al, i want to but i don't know it so if somebody please post it, that would be great. till then i will have to work on the letter which will take about 2 years(just kidding about a month should do it)

I sent a stupid one, asking questions that I later found the answers to do when I was a beginning fan. *smacks her forehead* I'm glad Al doesn't mind those...

I sent a stupid one when I was 9 or 10 praising him and then at the end I asked him if he could make music videos for Polkamon and AOTRHFAPNM.
