I'll say. We had ducks in my family when I was growing up (so to speak) and I want to testify that they
cannot be potty-trained. They can, however, be imprinted at hatching to follow a human around, which I guess might be comforting to someone with really weak self-esteem.
I think the thing with reputation depends on who it is. If VH1 makes someone look like a loon, that's no fun, but it's survivable if Al & TBITB & other persons of personal significance don't think you're a loon.
I just hope it's not the goal of the people making the show--- to make people look crazy.

The ones I washed back at the grooming place when I worked there in High School, sure did. They just don't shed nearly as much as some other dogs--- like my dog. I'm pretty sure there is no dog there, just a mound of hair.

Even if you dont, they will still lose some hairs.
As for the obsessed fan search, does anyone have a general idea of when it would air? I know they plan this stuff out way in advance-- I just hope I have cable then.

To read up on one person's experience, read what Randy "Peter Pan" Constan had to say about VH1 and his star turn.
This guy needs a good, old-fashioned Pixie-Punch back into reality (the same reality that most of us agree on).

I have to agree with everyone here, this is a dangerous line to tread. I say, if the segment ends up turning out to be a farce, we make like the AOL commercial and have every Weird Al fan possible storm the VH-1 building in LA. THat would be so awesome!

I would love that! Of course mainly becuse its warm in LA, and I am chilly. But I cant see how they would do that to Al, remember when he was their poster boy?

Well, it's currently raining and 60-ish.
They wouldn't be treating Al farcically, though, they'd be doing it to one of his fans. And I'm not sure if they realize that when Al looks out at the first two rows of the audience at his concerts, he knows a lot of those names. For most stars, after all, "my fans" are really kind of an amorphous, revenue-generating mass. For Al, we're people.

That's a good way of putting it!
