Well that's 9 PM my time so it should work out.

Sounds good anth! A September start to S4 should work just fine, allowing for the season to wrap in time to start All Stars in the winter, which is when most people said they wanted it. Also, it'll be around the same time as the original season!
Start up a thread to recruit players for S4 ASAP, anth. Somewhere in this thread, I have a list of potential "Second-Chance" Survivors from the first two seasons.

Ahem. Uh, Driew and Kevbo, if Jim chooses us to host, you still willing to do that?
Yes. I'm willing to be of whatever help I can.

Jeremy, who do you have right now for All-Stars from Season 2? (In the S4 thread, you mentioned that you had a spot for Numbers in All-Stars.)
EDIT: Oh wait, I saw the list! Nevermind!

Also, will the ICs in All-Star season be heavily trivia-based, or will there be a lot of creativity challenges too?
I'm asking because I was just looking through Survivor 2 Game Play and saw Dr. Dad's jury question....... here is how I would answer it if he had been a juror in Survivor 1:
ALLIANCES: 40%
This was far and away the most important factor in my making the final two (or the final three, for that matter). When I signed up to play, I had only been on WOWAY for about a month, and my being a newbie did not give me much confidence. However, anth formed an alliance with me right away, and that proved to be beneficial. Plus, I made one with Kevbo later, which gave Weird Al Survivor the greatest three-person alliance it will ever have.
AL KNOWLEDGE: 20%
I'll admit that I was not the most knowledgeable competitor in the first season, but I did win some trivia-based individual immunities and come in second in others, plus I contributed an answer in the challenge where Dingo got 11 questions right.
ABILITY TO GET ALONG WITH OTHERS: 30%
I contributed to team challenges and spread others' ideas. Plus, had I been completely on my own, I don't know if I would have made the jury, much less the final two.
ABILITY TO BE INVISIBLE: 10%
I won three challenges, so I imagine someone must have noticed me at some point.
As for Kevbo, I don't know what his percentages would be...... higher in Al knowledge, that's for sure.

The challenges will be varied, just as they have been in the first three seasons. There will be challenges based on trivia, general knowledge, creativity, speed, problem solving, strategy, and a couple based on pure luck!

Amen!
Here's how I would have answered, if I made the final two:
ALLIANCES: 40%
I realized that all it takes to win this game is a four-person alliance. So I asked TWO and GIM to join an alliance before the first challenge even started. I was about to approach Kevbo for an alliance once he joined, but he came to me first. The four of us made it through the first two Tribal Councils, so we had nothing to worry about in the tribal phase of the game. Then, I got all of the Poodles to vote for Driew at the first Spatulas TC. TWO managed to get WAF27 to vote for Driew too, so we definitely had a majority. Which meant that the Poodles had a majority at the following TCs, and once the Hamsters were gone, my alliance of four had a majority, so we were all safe. My primary alliance was me, GIM, and Kevbo, so we had a majority at four too. At the final three, it was everyone for themselves, because a two-person alliance could easily self-destruct depending on the immunity winner. Unfortunately, I was taken out, hopefully because GIM thought I was a threat in the final two.
AL KNOWLEDGE: 15%
To be honest, I don't know as much about Al as most of the other players did. But I did know Survivor well, so that was how I managed to get so far.
ABILITY TO GET ALONG WITH OTHERS: 40%
In one challenge, I won advance instructions of the next immunity challenge. I forwarded the instructions to Kevbo and GIM. Not because we had an alliance. It was totally strategy, and it didn't work. I knew at that point that we were going to be the final three. But I thought if I lost the final immunity challenge, I would be voted off. Because of that, I sent them the instructions, hoping that the person who won the last challenge would remember it and take me to the end. That's why I was hoping to win the final five challenge, where a PATW cassette was a reward. I don't have anything to play cassettes on, so I was hoping to win and give it to Kevbo, who seemed to want it a lot. That way, he would take me to the final two if he won. Obviously, that didn't work out.
ABILITY TO BE INVISIBLE: 5%
Hello! I was never invisible in this game! I was always a prime target and I knew that. However, in the two-tribe stage, I think that I always did the bare minimum I needed to so that I wouldn't be a target for voting but I wouldn't be noticed either.

Fear the Dingo!!!!!
(Unless I take a nap....good thing Sarley's gone)
Actually, my knowledge of Al and/or Survivor is pretty basic (Below basic for Survivor). I'm sure there are a ton of people here who know more than I do. I just lucked out in that challenge because I've watched BTM and Driven a lot.

I actually think that of all the players in the first season, of those that made it to the merge, you and Kevbo were the smartest Al-wise.

Back then I wasn't too smart, Al-wise, but oh I've gotten smarter about him.
*waits for a snide comment
