It has "Eat It", "Harvey", "Biggest Ball of Twine", "Smells Like Nirvana", and I think about nine other songs in it!! I will scan the cover of it tonight when I am home and post it!
Can he really put the sheet music to parodies in his book?

Well, I don't know if he did ... or if that was the publisher's doing (Cherry Lane Publishing). I just know it's called the "Weird Al" Anthology and contains the sheet music for the songs I listed as well as some others.

It's a legit product. Here's where you can get it from Amazon.

I would imagine he can as long as the original writer gets credited and paid their royalty.

I forgot to mention ... even if you're not into sheet music, it's a pretty nifty thing to have. It has a two full page mini-biography of Al in the front with several pretty cool pictures. It's somewhat out dated, but rather extensive in what it covers ... told me a couple things I didn't know, anyway.

I want the Anthology just so my collection will be a little more complete. The fact that it has pictures doesn't make any difference... That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Well, at least one person acknowledged what a great friend I have in Dawn. She gave me quite possibly the greatest WAY gift of all: My trip to AlCon.

She does sound like a great friend and a very special person! I'd hold on to her if I were you.

Oh, I certainly will, Kevbo! She's a good freind, and a fun person. Her boys also like Al. They're twins, 6 years old. :D

Be warned that the pictures inside the book are black and white ... but they are still pretty cool.

Also, I read the "fine print" tonight, and the mini-biography that is included in the "Anthology" is actually adapted from "Permanent Record". Since I don't have that, it's new to me, but for those that DO have it, it'll be old news. By the way, the sheet music book was published almost ten years ago, in 1996.

With all of that said, I am still thrilled to own it! :)

*nods* I love having the Anthology for collections sake, even if I don't play a musical instrument. What I really need is some LPs. I need to do some serious ebay shopping one day.
