Sorry came in late. But Al does not lip synch in concert. We leave that to Britney Spears. No offense to any fans here. But yes everything is live. I think some answers you got were good.

And I understand why Hardware Store isn't performed live. Its fast.

Hardware store has to be some sort of technical achievment. It's brilliant and well produced. And funny, of course.

How do you think Al is going to top Hardware Store? He seems to have a faster part of a song each album. Take Bad Hair Day for example, in Everything You Know Is Wrong Al had the long fast list of names. Then on Running With Scissors he had the ever-so-famous "Now you may find it..." line in That's Your Horoscope For Today and now on Poodle Hat a whole song that's rather fast with the mind blowing list-o-tools.

Yeah, wouldn't Al at home depot be great? Finding the right shade of green and then a 43-year-old man with long hair jumps out from the corner of the aisle and starts singing.

not that funny. That's a little... weird.

hehe, so do I, Bobbi, so do I!

He did say something about his big Home Depot appearance in the Dr. D interview. I can dream, can't I?

I would actually want to go to Home Depot if Al was there. I like this song but I wouldn't want Al to pass out singing it. There isn't carpeting in Home depot you know. So that would hurt. Well there isn't carpet in any store nevermind.

And the CPR thing I think there would be a line of gals wanting to give Al air. :P

There's carpet in some stores. Besides, maybe we could catch Al before he fell. hehe! No, we really don't want Al getting winded singing that song at a Home Depot just because some rabid fans want his to sing it live! Yes, I think there would be quite a line of gals wanting to give Al CPR!

Anyone else notice the instrumental version of Hardware Store doesn't have the tool-only intro at the beginning?
