I stumbled upon this:

Youtube

I don't remember seeing it before, and it has less than a thousand views, but the questions are so different from what he's usually asked and I really like it. :) If it has been posted before and I just didn't see it, whoops! But I like how he talks about being nervous on stage, since that's something I've wondered about. And his answer at the end is sweet (but a total cop-out!!). I also like how he talks about his parents and everything. Just stepping out of the norm a bit. ^_^

Yeah, I've seen this before, and it really is a very nice interview. I always like when they ask him different questions than usual (and I'm sure he appreciates it too).

Reposting something from YC that was uploaded recently and I had never seen before:

As well as another recently uploaded video from long ago with even less views:

These are the videos of Classic!Al where, to me, he seems most like his modern self! He's not trying to act especially goofy in either, he seems pretty chill. Maybe it's just because I'm seeing them for the first time now, I don't know! :potato:
Fancy transitions used in both of these!

I know what you mean. There are a lot of interviews from the 80s and such where he's acting like "MUST BE MR WACKY ALL THE TIME" and he seems to be doing that less and less over time, favoring an approach where he's more his calmer, normal self and dials up the wacky only as the situation requires. And it's interesting to see him there so young and not doing the wacky thing. It really shows how very little he's really changed over the years.

Oh, and, I'm sorry but I must:

I don't know how you missed "A Drink With" video, I'm quite possitive we discussed it thoroughly in yankochick central :? (ok, now that I checked, it was only me who discussed it and nobody else commented on it)
I haven't seen either of the last two before. The second one is pretty much default, but the first one was interesting :good: .

My exact thought while watching the TWIT show one. In most of his interviews from that time he's acting all wacky an silly, but in this one he's just being his normal self :)

Al apparently used to perform that in concert. I imagine the ladies were not part of the live performance, but I've been wrong before...
