That's a great idea, Patti! Al would love it!

Yeah, I think it'll be kinda difficult, since my accordion mold is pretty small, but I'll give it the old college try. Apparently, he just can't wrap his brain around the fact that anything edible I have ever given to him has been made by me. I was amazed that I was even able to find a candy mold for an accordion. It would be sweet if I could find a larger one, though.

That accordion is so colourful too, it'd look fantastic! And Im certain Al would be in total awe of you if you could manage to recreate it. :Y

Thanks, everyone! I may try a trial one first to see how it goes. I'll post pics.

After seeing that picture, I'm inspired to Ask Al how long ago he donated that accordion, and if they ever tell him where it's going to be next.

I thought it was answered in an Ask Al about when he donated and he thought he heard it was somewhere, which means to me that he isnt told where its going. It could have been from an interview though.

Well, then I'll just have to Ask Al in person.

;)

I did not realize there even was a Hard Rock Cafe in Bangkok, but that's where the acordion is, as of 2007, anyway.

I think she was folding her arms because she really didn't want her picture taken, and not because of Al's accordion. I could be wrong, though. I was thinking of possibly trying to recreate it in chocolate, to give to Al this summer. Whaddaya think?
Oh, I don't kow. Why would Al want a chocalte representation of some random little girl from Thailand? Oh, you mean the accordion! Yeah, that would be aweome. Go for it!! :Y

Thanks for the link to the picture. That's really cool looking. Hadn't seen it before. I like the multi-color keys. 8)

Ok, I'll throw in a cookie version of the little girl, just to be random.

Nah.

I'm leaning toward perhaps an accordion shaped cookie, rather than going blind trying to use my chocolate mold. We'll see.

Al goes to film screening, hangs out with media peeps who can't spell his name And for those of you who are keeping track of such things, the come-and-goatee is on view again. :inlove:

Who knew Al did a video for "You're Pitiful"?

BTW when I looked at my Google search results, I saw this:
Results 21 - 27 of about 127 from Mar 8, 2008 to today for weird-al.
Gotta love it!
