hehe, I had this vision of doing a Pancreas sing-along, just with that last part of it.

So, while you would be singing "flow, flow, flow, pancreatic juice, flow, flow, into the duodenum"

Someone else would sing: "Insulin, glucagon, coming from the islets of Langerhans"

and so on. The insulin line is now stuck in my head. hehe!

OMG I am now in love with this song!! At first I was like, "*shrug*, its good"
but now i can't get enough of it!!

It truely is Jim's song- he just shines in it.

So is it just me, or does this song SCREAM "God Only Knows" from the Beach Boys? (I know, I know, Brian Wilson- but it seems to be a style parody of that particular song)

When Al guest-DJ'ed on XM this week, he played a Brian Wilson song called "Vega-Tables" that sounds like a huge inspiration to "Pancreas"... you should check it out.

I've never heard the one you're referring to though so I'll have to do the same with that one.

You never heard God Only Knows Adrian? It's on Pet Sounds, pretty good album.

You know, I really didn't care for this song for the first several listens. But today I found myself singing it under my breath ALL DAY LONG. I couldn't get it out of my head. Especially the last section, starting with "Flow, flow, flow..."

You should have seen the strange looks my students were giving me.
