White & Nerdy has debuted at # 28 on The Billboard Singles Chart. How the hell did that happen? Is there a CD single for this song available for sale? I thought the Single business was dead. Is this song playing on the radio a lot?

Legal paid downloads now count as single sales, which is how White & Nerdy has made the Hot 100. And that 28 has a serious chance of getting higher, because last week, it took a few days to climb up the charts.
You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

I'm guessing it's based on digital sales of the song -- it's marked as DIGITAL instead of having a Catalog No. like some of the other songs. A lot of the songs on there are also DIGITAL so I guess that makes up a good amount of the singles business these days.
edit: yeah, like dingo said.

White & Nerdy is Al's third Top 40 hit, behind Eat It and Smells Like Nirvana. It's been a pretty long absence for Al on the Top 40 Singles Chart. 14 years.
