Anyone think this might show up on Dr. Demento this week?
That was one of the first things I thought.
I think Dr. D will play it.

It's funny too many people are trying to download it at once so it's taking real long time to fully download I can't wait to hear it.

I laughed so much all the way through, especially since I have a 42 years old uncle who still lives at home with his parents...

Al sounds fantastic, as always.

I can't imagine how many hits it's getting at the web page!
Must be crazy!

I'm so glad I found out about this song early, because it really didn't take that long to download. But, yeah, I'm sure the site is getting a ton of hits! Maybe Bobbi's right, and they're testing the waters, to prove to the suits that Al's still got it!

You would think bermuda would up the website's output. It should be obvious that several people would be trying to download the song. Heck the song is affecting the loading just to get to the Al website.

The new song got a mention in USA Today. Here's the text:
Weird Al hasn't disappeared
Several of you have e-mailed me about "Weird Al" Yankovic's new parody of James Blunt's You're Beautiful, which you can download for free on weirdal.com. The song's title: You're Pitiful.
You can leave comments, if you'd like.

I wonder why the title is not listed in the "record dates"?

I don't think Jon has updated the recording dates section to include that song yet.
He may do so soon.

Thanks for posting the lyrics. I am unable to access it from work, so guess I'll have to wait until I get home, or maybe see if I can access it at the library on my lunch hour.
I did notice that the new album now has "10" songs on it.
