No, as in the catering guy, and the equipment truck driver.

Yeah. He was awwwing and sighing while read what it said on the picture. I was very glad I got to see him enjoy it. :D
Awwww.... Vikki wrote the inscription on the bubblegum pic and I gave it to Al and you get to enjoy the reaction? I think I'm too easily frightened by Skip's rules. I just do Al flybys.

Did anybody mention already that Al wore the MAD shirt after both Portland & Eugene?

And, BTW, Skip didn't THROW the kid off the stage. No Al fans, no matter how cluelesssly self-promoting, were harmed in the making of this concert.

Also BTW, the other guy, who handed Al his Poodle Hat insert onstage, did so AFTER telling me he was planning to do it, and AFTER I told him don't do it, that's a stupid idea, you might have a chance after the concert but don't hand Al things during. He did it anyway. He was totally undeservedly lucky to have got it back at all (if that was you Ed, you were nicer to him than he deserved) AND gotten it signed. :stern:

And I got asked AGAIN "do you work for Al?" while handing out sticky badges to the crowd hoping to meet Al afterward. I think I need to wear a button that says, "No, I don't, I'm just a fan."

I forgot to mention a bit of amusement. When Al finished the diarrhea line, he was approaching Helen, and I noticed the woman behind her had turned her head, averted her eyes and was NOT going to let Al make eye contact with her. She's just lucky he didn't see her. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have let that pass.

Another thing that I keep remembering and chuckling about is the bit in Yoda.

"Ok, you sing it." Annoyed look "Now sing it BETTER!" I guess you have to hear the inflection in his voice.

Also I'm not sure if I mentioned it but there were a bunch of guitar solos in this concert. They had to fill time while they fixed things. We had a Jim solo because the video had ended and Al wasn't ready to come out yet, so Ed yelled in the microphone Jim SOLO!!!!!!!!!! You should've seen Jim's face! And we also had a Stev solo too.
Oh yeah. Forgot to mention this. I think he was doing Jimi Hendrix, but I'm not really sure. It just sounded Hendrix-y to me. But I don't know if it was planned or if it was to fill time. It was out of place, and Ed is the one who yelled "Guitar Solo!" but earlier in the day, when I was chatting with the equipment truck driver, he mentioned that they were doing sound check and they were working on the Hendrix thing. At the time, I wondered if maybe they don't do sound check with songs they play all the time, but instead do it with songs that they can have some fun with. But later when Jim had his solo (awesome, BTW) like I said, it sounded like a Hendrix thing to me.

So maybe they practice stuff for just in case?

Scotti, I know what you mean by the fog/smoke machine. Though, it wasn't as bad as it was in Kansas City last year with the way it was in OC.

Remember upthread the mention of the pic that Helen gave to Al from Bubblegum Alley. I just remembered that I have it uploaded, so if you haven't seen it today's your lucky day!

Thanks for the review and pics, Bobbi! And who says that shirt couldn't have been washed between the Portland show and the Eugene one? It just sounds like you're saying he's wearing a dirty shirt. <_< Glad you got to talk to Al about the calendar, and that he liked it. He called you sweet? Awwwww! You must still be floating over that. *Just like I am since he said I was too good to him*. Anyway, thanks for sharing all the Al goodness.

20 days....
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!
