Al won't be presenting or performing, but it's possible he'll be seen sitting in the audience. I'm sure he's there enjoying the show.

I'm not sure if Al will be mentioned on the show or not. I'm still taping the whole thing just in case they make an announcement near a commercial break, though -- which is entirely possible. Though my tummy did a little turn when the first thing out of the box as the Grammies started was that little purple midget.

Also, the Grammy win was announced on the official Grammy site -- Here's the link.

Tremendous congrats to Al and the band!! First year back in the running for a Grammy and he wins it! And well deserved, as Poodle Hat is an awesome album.
Now, we gotta see if Poodle Hat makes it back on the Billboard Top 200 again as a result of this. It's certainly possible, but if Poodle Hat is not announced on the air at some point during the broadcast as a win, I suspect sales will not be noticeably different. Average people aren't going to go actively hunting for the winner of Best Comedy Album in their record store without being reminded of it. If it's announced on national TV, however, or if Poodle Hat is put in store displays with other Grammy winners of the night, then we could possibly see a jump in sales. We'll just have to wait and see.

Yeah! He Did It!! Congrats to Al and TBITB! This all would not be possible without the incredibly adorable Bela! Without Bela there would be no Poodle Hat! Congrats Bela.... Oh, and that guy that your sitting on.

No, Al allready was given his award. The Comedy presentation will not be part of the show. They may mention the awards not presented (like comedy) and the winners (like Poodle Hat) before they jump to commercial or between awards/preformances.
