Al posted on twitter that Wayne Isham will be the director of the concert being taped and he posted a behind the scenes video of the Alpocalypse photo shoot

It was fascinating to watch Robyn von Swank's creative process. great little video. I love any "behind the scenes" stuff

Yes, i hope(but doubt there is any) that he will post behind the scenes stuff for the PTW video. That would be awesome to see.
And i IMDB'd the director for the concert and he has done lots of concert movies for all kinds of people so he should be really good

Wayne Isham is a great music video director. Back in the day he did a ton of metal videos, and more recently has focused on pop videos. I am really curious if this means there will be a more interesting treatment than the style of Weird Al Live which was pretty straightforward.
The one thing I have ALWAYS wanted to see was the behind the scenes of a Weird Al concert. I hope this concert film demystifies the between-songs process, ie what is going on while those videos are playing? I would really like to see what the room looks like that Al changes costumes in and how long that actually takes him to do.

I definitely agree about the behind-the-scenes of the concerts. Since they are unable to provide the video clips outside of the concert, it would definitely fill the void of time between songs! It'd be more like the length of a movie nowadays if they had all that.

I would estimate that it takes around the time of the video clips and he just puts the outfits on. He has an assistant. Nothing too mystifying about it. I do know that the PTW Peacock outfit takes two assistants, his regular girl and the merch girl.
As to the director, I think it's great. He's done a great job with Avenged Sevenfold videos. Hopefully it will be a little different perspective than Live.

Yeah I'm hoping for something a little less polished and more gritty, along the lines of Stop Making Sense or Gimme Shelter.
