I found out that Al's house was on Access Hollywood, sometime around 1999. Has anybody found the video for that on the web? i'd like to see his house...

Well I know that he was on Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous in 1988. See that here. I dont remember anythng in 99, but there could have been. And as far as having a recording studio in his house, you really dont need a big house to have a recording studio, one room would suffice. I'm pretty sure he just uses his for demos and the like, he records the actual album in a professional studio.

In any case, I think he moved to a different house when he got married. IIRC, his first house (which he bought in the mid-80's, shortly after Michael Jackson changed his life) was kind of small, only two bedrooms.

ya it was so small that when an interviewer came to talk to him, he thought he was getting punkd!
