World of Weird Al Yankovic

"Best Day of My Life" is a very parody-able song, so I could see that being a legitimate target. But "Worst Day of My Life"? Sounds like it just would be a re-tread of ground Al has already covered in "One of Those Days". (Also, this parody idea has been done by many different people on YouTube already.)

And I still have a hard time with the idea that Al would parody "Let It Go". Just doesn't seem like the type of song he would tackle.

So yeah...grain of salt. But hey, I like when titles--even fake ones--start getting thrown around. Gets us all speculating more and more, and by the time we think we've got it all figured out the official album info drops and proves us all wrong.

Definitely a faker, but I really like the title as Alfred. I don't know why.

Let It Go would be a fantastic song to parody popularity wise, but I'm not sure a parody would work nor would Disney let it happen.

So should we infer from this that the lead parody idea has been chosen/approved? Would he necessarily be scouting locations for (presumably) the new lead music video prior to knowing what the song was?

It could be for an already-recorded song (actually, how many live action videos are there so far? For a while now, I've been hearing about Al shooting stuff for the music videos), or a completely unrelated project.

Yeah, this has to be fake. For one thing, I certainly don't think there's any chance Al would set a release date before he finished the album. For another thing, if Al did have the album finished, I remember reading that he only needs to give the label six weeks notice for a release date. If the album was done, he could easily set a late-July or early-August release date; I don't see why he would wait until September.

It strikes me as extremely unlikely that he would be location scouting for a music video of a song he has not written or recorded yet. Not saying the lead single hasn't been written and recorded, or that he isn't location scouting for a different music video or project altogether.

The photography for the album is done, so it cant be that. If he was doing a live action for a supporting parody he wouldbt wait this long to do it. So its either lead single or a seperate thing. Or a friend of his is doing location scouting for a project Al isnt involved in but he tagged along anyway and is messing with us
