Well, this page isn't specifically about Al, but, you know, to us all things hamster are a nod to the Great One and his hamsterphilia.

:hamsters: Hey, Harvey! :hamsters:

Here's a blog that provides a snapshot of current top iTunes downloads. Al's doing all right in comedy music.

1. White & Nerdy (Parody of "Ridin'" By Chamillionaire featuring Krayzie Bone) - "Weird Al" Yankovic
2. Ebay (Parody of "I Want It That Way" by the Backstreet Boys) - "Weird Al" Yankovic
3. Canadian Idiot (Parody of "American Idiot" By Green Day) - "Weird Al" Yankovic
4. Amish Paradise (Parody of "Gangsta's Paradise" by Coolio) - "Weird Al" Yankovic
5. Shoes - Kelly
6. The BK Lounge - Dane Cook
7. Not So Kool-Aid - Dane Cook
8. A Complicated Song (Parody of "Complicated" by Avril Lavigne) - "Weird Al" Yankovic
9. The Saga Begins (Lyrical Adaption of "American Pie") - "Weird Al" Yankovic
10. The Chanukah Song - Adam Sandler

So Al got six out of ten of the spots, and two of the songs are from Poodle Hat (A Complicated Song surprised me; I didn't think it was one of the strongest on the album, but hey, I'm glad it's selling) That's gotta help PH's sales... when IS that thing going to go gold, anyway?

It's really sad that Shoes is on that list.

I personally find it annoying that music comedy and spoken-word comedy is alwayse lumped together...
It get's annoying after a while when looking for some good comedy music and only finding stand up recordings...
Heck, to me, stand up comedy loses half it's comedic apeal when the visual element is removed, only leaving the speach...
But that's just me...
And I'm just saying this because of the Dan Cook stuff in that list, and I've been waiting for a chance to bring that up...

Wiki says Poodle Hat did go gold....but then again, it is Wiki

For all we know, Poodle Hat's sales count went backwards from what we heard last

Pfft. I'll believe Poodle Hat is gold when Al or Bermuda says it is. But wasn't it up to 424,000 or thereabouts shortly after SOL came out? It has to be close.
