Why hasn't Al been on SNL yet?

Well, let's petition for Letterman before anything else. Who knows how many years that man has left on him?

WHEN is the season finale? Al has a video to make then full schedule of concerts, a new album to promote, a new book to write, an extended deferred vacation to take and another tour after that. Even if SNL asked him on, he might be already committed to something else remember

But he can make a digital short whenever he wants. The Lonely Island's new album is coming up, too, and a collaboration of them would make perfect sense.

I do remember when SOL came out that a booker from Letterman was hanging out here around the forums trying to...I don't know, gauge reaction at the possibility of getting Al on the show? It was never clear what they were doing here other than merely representing Dave.

The great thing about Letterman or Conan is that Al can theoretically get on their shows anytime around the album release...with SNL he'd have to wait until the fall at the earliest.

But yeah, let's try for all three...if anything, just to finally get them out of the way.

I have gone Onto the Ellen degeneres show website quite a few times trying to request them to book Al(and get me tickets to go see her show ) but of course I have never heard anything back.

And for conan I guess maybe badger the team coco twitter and facebook...

A member of this forum will be interning on Conan this summer. Hopefully he (or she) will make friends with the booking department...

Trust me, I'm going to try as hard as I can to get Al on the show this summer. Being just an intern, I'm not sure how much power I'll have over stuff like that, but you can bet I'm sure as hell going to try.
