Thanks Grant. I think I was sold on the Jungle Cruise thing as soon as I saw the pictures. As I have yet to hate any song by Al (other than Fat) I am looking forward to this

I hope that a trip to Disneyland can be fit in to your schedule (and Ale's too) while you're visiting California. I haven't been to a Disney Park in 35 years, so I fear a lot of the references will be lost on me.

This is still all speculation, of course.
This means something. This is important.

Trust me, we're going. My dad has been whining about wanting to go to Disneyland all my freaking life. I never ever wanted to go (probably due to my misconception as a child that Disney would be a place full of dudes dressed as Pluto and Mickey), and I'm still not that interested in it, but I don't really have any say in it.

But, hey! Thank you, Al, for giving me a reason not to hate my parents!

They've got plenty of that for sure, but they've got LOTS of cool stuff too. Especially the Indiana Jones Adventure, The Haunted Mansion and Muppet*Vision 3-D. The Jungle Cruise is kinda lame, but if you want to go on it just for the Al reference then I don't blame you. Give the place a chance, I think you'll like it.

Cool - I love Disney theme parks!! The only thing that could make this better is a reference to some other attraction...perhaps "Matterhorn", "Country Bear Jamboree", "Big Thunder Mountain Railroad", or "The Hall Of Presidents".

Do we know who the style is, or is that still up in the air?

I'm starting to think this won't end up being a Jimmy Buffett style parody and will be a generic style parody of the genre of tiki music.

I can't believe Al still hasn't officially announced this. Does he really expect it to sell well if no one but the most obsessed hardcore fans know about it?

People will know about it once it's available, when Al starts promoting it. I'm sure Al's just trying to decrease the possibility of spoilers. Even if he wanted to, all he could say at this point is "New single July 14!" And that didn't help "Craigslist" chart, even though everything went right that time. I'm sure fewer people will buy "Skipper Dan" on Tuesday, but in the long run I think it'll all even out.

Or maybe, for once, Al just wants to be able to say "New single available RIGHT NOW!!!!" without all that "coming soon, but I'm stringing you along and making you wait" BS.

This way, only we hardcore fans are actually being TORTURED with anticipation. And let's face it, we're the ones torturing ourselves.

Oh boy, Bermuda's reading this.

Guess that means the spoilers will be even harder to find next time around.
